St. Louis has been entered in an international Battledish: a competition between chefs around the world.

Local chefs have been chosen (truly, the first challenge for this event!) to compete in Battledish: St. Louis, taking place in the Central West End this October

Goat Cheese Polenta Cake A rich polenta cake is topped with goat cheese and a brown butter, mushroom-sage sauce

Missing Manhattan Knob Creek Bourbon, The Big O Ginger Liquor, rosemary simple syrup, and orange bitters

Pig Head Crepinette Pig head crepinette with stone fruit, Missouri corn grits, and pork jus

The Godfather II Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Dumante pistachio liquor muddled with raw sugar, cherry and orange

Korean Pork Slider with Cucumber Kimchee Marinated brisket with spicy mayo, green onions and cucumber kimchee

Big-Eyed Tuna Poke Taco Big eye tuna sashimi cubes, mango slices, onion, scallions, sesame seed in house-made wonton taco, japanese napa cabbage slaw, sweet and spicy soy garlic marinade

Mango & Strawberry Swirl Freshly pureed mangoes paired with Stoli Strawberry Vodka, fresh squeezed lemon juice, simple syrup and soda water

Wild Flower - Andre Grosz, Chef de Cuisine

Wild Flower Ribeye Grilled, organic and grass-fed ribeye is topped with Madeira-soaked golden raisins and a local wild mushroom demi-glace and served with Russian fingerling potatoes and broccolini

Wild Orchid Milagro reposado, Chambord liqueur, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar, egg whites, combined with a secret ingredient - a splash of a local brew

What is Battledish? Battledish is the world's biggest chef competition taking place in cities around the world. Local chefs compete by presenting their creations and having the public cast their vote on who will be crowned King. Check out the latest battlegrounds and competitions at http://battledish.com.

What is the Battledish event like? Think of it as a walking adventure through CWE restaurants where chefs are waiting with their creations. At check-in, you will receive a map and a menu of the Battledish. It is then up to you to decide who to vote for. Battlegrounds are open for four hours. Everything is within walking distance.

Teaser Package: Mix and Match: $40 Try 5 chef dishes (or drinks) with this package! (each dish and drink is valued at $5 each). Includes Admission. ($45 the day of the event)

Gourmand: Chef Dishes and Drinks at all 5 Restaurants: $60 Get your belly full by trying the complete collection of 5 chef dishes and 5 drinks from all 5 chefs with this package! (each dish and drink is valued at $5 each). Includes Admission. ($70 the day of the event)

General Admission: $15 Admission only. This grants you admission to Battledish! Eat as you please with each chef dish and drink priced at only $5 the day of the event. ($20 the day of the event)

Extra Food/Drink Tickets 1 Ticket - $5, 5 Tickets - $24, 10 Tickets - $45, $20 Tickets - $85. Available the day of the event only.

Where to Meet

All attendees must check in at our Check In Booth at Wild Flower (4590 Laclede Ave St Louis, MO 63108). Here you will exchange online orders for food/drink tickets, order additional tickets, if desired, or purchase new admission and food/drink tickets. You will receive a map for the event and your voting ballots! Parking: There is street parking available throughout the CWE as well as several parking garages, including the Argyle at 225 N. Euclid by the Public Library.
